Why should not a kind of food does not exist?
Sounds like your description of being young, I think it is a type 1 diabetes. A type 1 diabetes can inject insulin all you meet to eat, no matter how many carbohydrates and sugars, which has in it. Thus, there should be no problems with "special treatment" from a regular birthday cake.
