I painted a wooden chair and the leg got busted off. How can I fix it? - leg clamps

Wood glue, staples, screws, tape, wood, putty, sandpaper, paint.
The parts together without glue. the tape in place. Use a drill to drill a hole into both pieces. Clearing. Use wood glue to the directions. Pieces together and secure using wood screws.
